NTT assigns 45% of its resources to Research and Development: labour, materials and time. Our R&D is divided into two separate divisions:

  1. The first is about Research and Development and focuses on research, selection and control of raw materials (Jolly Pilot, Pilot plant): depending on pot life and polymerisation/cross-linking time, it ensures that specific formulations of raw materials (two-component resins, catalysts, flame retardant compounds and other additives) fit with NTT technology.
  2. The second one carries out controls on the finished product: it ensures that the obtained properties match customer’s requests perfectly (for example, X-ray cabin verifies X-ray attenuation through the unleaded radiopaque product).
